Magnetic Drive-Away Strip

The Magnetic Drive-Away Strip is a brand new accessory for 2016 and is the newest form of a Drive-Away kit making it easier and quicker to attach almost any drive-away awning to a metal based vehicle roof. Each strip measures 270cm approx and includes 4x figure of eight standard connectors.

Using a strong neodynium magnetic strip to secure the Drive-Away Strip to your vehicles roof which includes, along it's leading edge, standard awning beading. Attach the magnetic strip to the top of your vehicle in the desired position, hold the cowl up to the other side of the strip and then thread the figure of 8 strips on to both your awning and the drive-away kit. 

The magnetic Drive-Away Strip can be used with or without optional Outdoor Revolution Storm Straps to provide additional security during more inclement weather conditions. The Storm straps attach to reinforced securing tabs sewn directly to the Magnetic drive-away kit. Simply thread the storm straps through the loops to secure, throw them over your vehicle and peg them out on the opposite side to anchor into position. Quick, easy and strong - no drilling, screwing or glueing  - it's that easy.

We recommend using the Magnetic Strip with vehicles with a height range of 180cm - 240cm, the higher the vehicle the harder it is to attach the strip to your roof.
